So, Little Chocs has its first commission! Very, very exciting =)
We've been asked to create a selection of Indian inspired chocolates for a Bollywood-themed Summer Ball this summer. We have a couple of weeks to create the flavours and put them in for taste testing by the committee, but after that we'll be left to make about 400 chocolates! It'll be tiring and lots of hard work- but what a great way to get our name out there!
Going to start experimenting tomorrow. So far, our ideas are white chocolate and cardamom, rolled in dessicated coconut, milk chocolate and cinnamon (we're going to experiment with adding rum soaked raisins too), dark chocolate, chilli and ginger, and dark chocolate and mango infused with orange liquer. There are going to be a few nut allergy sufferers at the event, otherwise I'd do a milk chocolate and cinnamon roasted cashew nut flavour.
We also have a website! You can find us on facebook, or at littlechocsofhorrors.webs.com!

Hello!
Hello there! Welcome to the new Little Chocs of Horrors blog :) While we're getting up and running, and setting up everything and anything, please check in here to find out about our recipes, and little tidbits of information about all things chocolate and cupcakes!
I'm Hannah, the owner and baker/chocolatiere behind Little Chocs. I've always had a passion for chocolate (what woman doesn't, really!?) and baking; I love it! I'm definitely someone who uses cooking and baking to lighten my spirits, and I've always been someone to bake cakes and treats for different occasions. During Sixth Form I was known to whip up cupcakes and other baked goods for birthdays and/or Wednesdays ;) I suddenly thought- why not make something of it?
I'm currently making a batch of Fruit and Nutcase truffles, and Honey Monster mini bars. I'll hopefully post photos and let you all know how they go!
